I have yet to crave another Big City Burrito "while watching American Idol", however I guess I'll never be in that situatuion. Who woulda thought a potato burrito could be so tastey? Thanks for the fun time!

It's pronounced thermometer. Seriously though, it's tripple. It says so on the bottle.

Thanks for the postcard! (If you don't remember, you guys sent me one that day.) :)

Oh, and also, I love love love Trippel, though am not 100% sure on the pronunciation. Tripple? Trippelle? Either way, a damn fine beer. We have Red Hook up here in Washington, which is also enjoyable, but does not hold that special place in my heart that New Belgium does. (Yes, and it's the choice of a new generation.)

Miss you!

If you know me, you know I love beer! And nothing quenches my thirst better then an ice cold Fat Tire. I will say that I have been in the estrogen phase of drinking wheats a lot and Blue Moon as well as Easy Street are wonderful Fo Co brews (adding a lemon, orange or none of the above will give you a different experience each time). Fat Tire is where it is. 90 Shillings...YUM...I agree is also a very good beer.

I cannot wait to get back up to the breweries and enjoy some of those fine beers myself.

FLICK - forget work, lets go now then enjoy a round of golf!

Is it just me, or did I get drunk reading this? No, that may be the tequila I had after lunch. Anyway, I and sad about the news of Fat Tire. Not only do I think it's cheapened by a can, but I can't even get it out here. Thanks for reminding of me of that one. Seriously.

Thanks for inviting me on this trip - was it because of my sarcastic anti-beer comment on another post?

Fort Collins Brewery is a pimple on the Fort Collins beer scene. Disgusting!

But I agree - New Belgium has the tastiest of the brews, Odell is a close second, Big Horn is not memorable.

I'm not going to lie, after reading this, I am on the verge of tears, missing the wonderful beers of good ol' CO. Sure, Philly and the surrounding areas have a few worthwhile micros, but none that satisfy like a delicious Fat Tire. Plus, if you can't send a slightly drunken postcard for free from the tasting room, what's the point?
