Number 3 blows my mind. This rule goes right with the rest of the article – outdated. I’m not gonna lie – my paycheck < wifey’s paycheck. And am I upset about it? No. All that it means is that I picked a wife who is (a) smart, (b) successful, and (c) awesome. How is that supposed to make me feel better?

Would it have been better if I just picked up some hussy at the Wendy’s drive through so I could guarantee that she would never make more than me?

Is number 2 really a secret?
Also, I wish more women would be aware of number 4. Just because I had dinner with my friend while I was on travel in Houston or played Mario Kart online with him doesn’t mean that I asked him if he’s seeing anyone, or how he feels about things. Unless those things are the NFL draft, MLB trade deadline, new Indiana Jones movie, etc.

I think that 1 and 2 are universal. Oddly, I have to say 4 is the opposite for girls. The stories I hear from some of my best friends are outrageous. Oddly enough, you know a girl is telling the truth because, when confronted, she will downplay every detail into “We kissed, but nothing happened”, giving you the look of “Don’t blow my cover”. Oh, no…now I have to worry about being BBQ’d by fellow chicas for divulging this fact…or something.
