I understand completely with the music is in the ear (and moment) of the beholder. In an attempt to de-clutter my life, I've scanned in all CDs and am now selling them. I tried taking them to the local used CD store, where the emo kid behind the counter essentially told me my CDs were too embarrassing to sell. I was like "But Paula Abduel's 'Spellbound' was great for dance music when my Barbies would go to the club" and they were like "seriously, get out." Some people. And I agree-Pabu could totally fill in for random Fenix TX dude if he were to have to save the planet one day or something. Twins.

Dagger - I know exactly what you are saying. I feel the same way. Sometimes driving by places I remember hanging out at or hearing certain songs takes me back to a time when nothing mattered. A time when I was invincible. Nothing could hurt me nor stop me. Oh those were the days. But not I sit here at my desk reading these stories and it takes me away from the real world even for the 20 minutes a day. I block out the noise from the cubicle life. I don't answer the phone or respond to e-mails. The 20 minutes reading CJS is the best part of my day and it helps me not think about being an adult working all day everyday. THANKS
