I am sick of fans being pissed about the blown call in the Broncos and Chargers game. This is just like when that kid caught the foul ball at the Cubs game and that Red sock let the ball roll by his glove in the world series in the 80′s. Sure they may have won on that one play, but they all had opportunites to redeem themselves and they didn’t.

P.S. If any one ever catches me being a hypocrite feel free to slap me.

I do hate the bandwagon Cubs fans I do not deny that, it is the people that were wearing the Yankees hats in the 90′s who are now wearing Cubs hats. I took Flickerbock’s comments to mean only Cubs fans care about the Cubs when they are winning which is obviously untrue. There is no denying that when a team is doing well there is going to be a ton of bandwagon fans, look at the Rockies, everyone in Colorado were die hard Rocks fans, now you can’t find anyone in Rockies gear.

I guess we can all agree on one thing and that is the Cowboys suck.

P.S. On a related note LaBron James pisses me off, he is from Cleveland and he loves the Yankees and Cowboys, I mean I understand there is not much to cheer about as far as sports go in Cleveland but could you make your fair weather fanness alittle less obvious.

After the Cowboys won their second super bowl in the 90′s my elementary school had a “Cowboys Day” where everyone was supposed to wear a Cowboys t-shirt, even teachers and the principal. I wore a Giants shirt and my teacher asked if I had forgotten my Cowboys shirt and if I wanted to borrow one and I said, “no, I don’t like the cowboys. I like when they lose.” She looked at me like I just cut the classroom hamster in half with a ginzu knife and didn’t say anything else. It was a very satisfying day in my young life. In the interest of time I will just say that Cowboy fans suck.

Gutter, you told me yourself how much you hate the Cubs bandwagon fans and how annoyed you are seeing new Cub hats everywhere when they do well. I have nothing but love for you since you have actual memories of the 1989 team like I do, but you gotta admit, bandwagon Cub fans nowadays are like Cowboy fans of the 1990s.

Flickerbock how can you call Cubs fans bandwagon fans when they have stuck by their team for 100 years without winning a World Series, I bet the only time you could sell out a twins game is if they made the playoffs (which isn’t happening this year), hell even then they would probably have to make the ALCS before they got a sell out.

I saw the funniest shirt on one of those sights, it said “Only blind people and douche bags were sun glasses inside”

Good old Wilford Brimley and his diabetes commercials. Karl Malone says they should call it livea-beetus instead of diabeetus.

Flickerbock, I’ll agree with you on one thing. Cub fans are the worst and make me ashamed sometimes to support the team. They’re just the loudest, most obnoxious, “woe is me,” whiny assholes on the planet.

Jesus, it’s just a game. Shut up! I love the Cubs too, and I want to see them succeed as much anyone, but please, let’s tone it down a little bit. And this has definitely been the case post-1998 or so. Before that, no one ever had a problem with Cub fans (except Cardinals fans). I think at this point it’s near impossible to put the toothpaste back in the tube with the fans, so I find myself cheering the Cubs more and more quietly.

And I still hate the Cubs. Like they murdered my family. (But is it the team that I hate? Or do I hate the team because a majority of their fans are the most annoying set of bandwagon jumpers west of Boston and/or New York?)
