Angels in 6 games. Why would I choose the Angels against the lovable loser Cubs? Because I like Chicago fans and if they win the World Series, they will become annoying assholes like the Boston fans. He is awesome in every aspect of the game. I am glad I got to yell at him during one of the late season games, I just wish he would have fulfilled my wish of wearing the high socks the next day. All the beer and Rockies dogs. All of the Guys Night Out Bingo. All of the Hot Dog contest and the cheating bastard of being in the third position (which won the contest 85% of the time). All of the "SLIDE" yelling to the contestants who put in second base. All of the "Heeeeyy Baby" pissing off of Fickerbock during the 7th inning stretch. All of the being pissed off because some douche bag decided to start the wave when we are down by 1 with a runner on in the 8th. All of the awesome excitement at work knowing you have a game to go to that night. All of the walking to the ball park from the awesome parking spot I found and continued to use all year. All of the conversations with great friends during the game. ALL of it is gone for 6 months. No more little blond kid staring at me. No more making fun of the drunk couple. No more making fun of the lady who wears the yellow shirt that shows her breasts. No more having to deal with the lady who looks like she would be a great actress in the Wizard of Oz. No more hoping for a home run to hit the foul pole and bounce towards our seats. No more yelling "JORGE" when someone drops a foul ball (wait, I will use this all year round). Until next year, I will be waiting for the GNO tickets to go on sale. I will be waiting for the Opening Day tickets to go on sale. I will be waiting for the schedule to see what other tickets I want to buy go on sale. Until those days come...I will be thinking of you Rockies. I will be thinking of the fun we had this Summer.
