I liked it at about 1:28 of that mohawk video when the cameraman checked out the hairdresser's ass.

Another reason to like Rise against - their view on the Ramones:

The Ramones Invented punk rock as we know it. We know that may be a controversial statement but all of the early seminal punk bands were trying to be The Ramones. They were playing pop music as they heard it and that was loud, fast, and dangerous without a care in the world. And the most important thing was that everyone could be a Ramone--they were just like me and you, and instilled the feeling that anyone could pick up a guitar and play their music (although not like THEM). That made everyone love them and that made the genre they created for the outsiders and the outcasts and anyone that wanted to belong somewhere. They're why we do what we do and why we still love this music.

When I first started reading the Rise Against article, I was thinking - what a typical punk rock response to that question. But as the article progressed, they really hit on some incredible albums that are far from punk. Led Zeppelin, Tommy, and Kind of Blue are astounding albums and it was cool to see a punk band pull inspiration from them. Another reason to like Rise Against.

I am a fucking fantastic Flick, dickhead.

Those weird names stories prove that local news is the biggest waste of time that you can do during the evenings. I learn more from going to sporcle.

I have to give props to the family with the wacky middle names. I can't believe they got so many people to fall for their prank, they really deserve a medal. Take that news media!
