Lee S. Hart...sorry I am late to reading this but thank you for your candor! I am not for sure if you know this but I am a pharmacuetical rep (don't hate me) for ASACOL! Great news there is a new pill just approved by the FDA yesterday for a double dose Asacol. So now you probably can cut your dosing down once it comes on the market.

Enough with the sales pitch, Augie, just so you know it is pronounced ASS-a-col on the East Coast, Canada and Europe.

You rock. Sorry you have to deal with all of that, but you are frickin brave. I got very whiney when after my c-section the nurses asked me 20 times a day if I had a "bowel movement" yet. They obviously never had to crap while full of staples, but I digress. When I did go, I seriously cried. You put me to shame, dear.

It is good to know though that I am not the only one who has had a panic attack in a shower stall.
