But I too love me some Kelly Clarkson...and Katy Perry. They’re upbeat and fun to listen to. I resisted the Clarkson for a long time, as someone who has not only never watched American Idol, but avoids anything that may encourage the insanity it induces. One day, however, I was riding in the car with a coworker and I heard that Life Would Suck Without You song…and was ashamed to admit that not only was it catchy, but I loved it. It was one of the few songs that got stuck in my head for weeks and didn't make me hate it. I don’t view these as guilty pleasures…more as street cred killers.
