Some family friends had an olympic theamed party every olympics for some odd 24 years(6 parties). It was awesome they included games like broomball on their frozen yard, Curling and snowmachine jumping. I may have made that last one up but that would be sweet right? They even had medals.

The pimp ‘n ho party was awesome but had way too much drama with me and the chick I was trying to bang at the time. The Heaven and Hell party was sick because not only did the party kick fuckin ass, I scared the shit out of myself the next morning after sleeping in my suit, looking in the mirror, and seeing my black hair and goofy guy-liner.

I want to have an Olympics themed party with events, winners, and medals. Everyone has to dress up and represent for a country. In the end, we crown a champion. Actually, now that I write this, this is the plot of the movie Beerfest.

Aw fuck it, sounds like fun though, right?

Another great theme party is the ultimate cocktail party. Dagger referred to this in his last post with his ultimate fail of vodka tonic…basically, the host provides every mixer known to man, and everyone who comes brings a bottle. I recommend this as a housewarming party, as it sets you up with a nice liquor cabinet when everyone leaves. Another bonus-you can try all those drinks you are interested in, but don’t want to pay $9 (or more…damn Boston prices) to discover they’re disgusting.

I believe the picture of the hats was from a Margahrita party with what appears to be Zebrahead either playing or to drink, not Jimmy Buffet.

With Augie’s point one of the best parties I had in college was a pimp an’ ho party.

Also we went to a forty’s party. Wear a wife beater and bring your forty’s in a bag very easy.

Maybe we change the 80s party into a 90s party now that we are moving into 2010. Remember those days? Baggy pants, Huge shirts, “dope gear”, Yo homie, 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, 2Live Crew, Straight out of Locash, etc.

Or maybe we do a ’30s ganster party. Or, a Playboy party – Hefner style. All the guys dress up as Hefner and all the girls dress in lingerie.

Wow, two Tron mentions in one article, I feel much love. The pink angel winged costume was fun. Although with Limon’s effeminate devil garb the two of us looked like a couple. Let this be a lesson to everyone, playing a costume gay can be funny, but when your good friend and roommate does it too, people will wonder if it is a joke or not.

I’m sure the Bar Mitzva party would be offensive, but I never had any Jewish friends growing up and they always looked like so much fun. It is most definitly best this party never happened.
