If there are only four teams in the world I would call it a world series. Especially considering the current “world series” is 29 teams from the states and 1 team from Canada. I would hardly call that the world.

That is my bad, I forgot all about the prayer that Jimmy says “Uh, Lord, hallowed be Thy name. May our feet be swift; may our bats be mighty; may our balls… be plentiful. Lord, I’d just like to thank You for that waitress in South Bend. You know who she is – she kept calling Your name. And God, these are good girls, and they work hard. Wow, a 2-run triple down the right field line? Now this is some big plays you are talking here, my question is, did the batter pull the ball or go opposite field with it?

League of Their Own is a good movie and like Dagger said, there are some good one liners in there. Everyone knows the “Are you Crying? There’s no crying in baseball” and I am positive that every reader has said that in their lifetime at least once. But the best line in the whole movie is this when Jimmy Dugan says to the umpire “Did anyone ever tell you, you look like a penis with that little hat on?” Awesome!!
