Phone - Left Pocket
Chap Stick - Left Pocket
Keys/Knife - Right Pocket
Wallet - Right Back Pocket.

In high school I was never without a pen. Usually a foutain pen because I'm a dork. I've stopped bringing a pen with me because I have a desk that is full of them.

My phone is in my front left. Keys, money clip, and pocket knife in right front. Wallet is in back right and watch is on my right wrist (since I write left handed). Ring on left ring finger. And when I do dishes my watch always goes in the right front pocket, don't want to scratch the screen on my phone.

In my truck I have a toy Simba doll about 3 inches tall that me and a buddy pretended to perform an autopsy on then close up during the time we were both aides in the chemistry lab in our high school. "Surgical Simba" has been there in every vehicle I have ever owned and I expect will continue to be there ad infinitum. That buddy is now teaching high school science at a school in a Boston suburb, probably with two goof-offs in the back of the class cutting up a spongebob they got from a kid's meal at Burger King.

It is interesting to look at this article and think about what you carry, physically and mentally. I, like most CJS readers, carry a lot with me and at times it burdens me to have so much. It wears on you emotionally and can sometimes change the way you act. After a specific time in my life, I had to walk away from multiple "friends" who I had for the simple reason of alcohol. When you walk away from people you have grown to live with the last some odd number of years, if is difficult. Then again, parts of your memories that you will carry on well moving forward. Best decision I ever made, but at times I wonder what it would be like if I didn't.

Physically, not only do guys carry the same items (keys, phone, wallet), but not one person thought of emotions. The emotions from the prior paragraph can weigh on a person physically as well. Wrinkles, gray hair, raggedy cloths, etc. Books likes this make you think deeper then you would normally when reading the local sports page. Everyone needs to stop sometimes, look deeper into things such as books and other people. Stop your busy life and look at your past, look at where you currently are and look at where you want to go. Make sure you are on the right track and remember what you have done in the past so you can use that to work toward the future you dream of. Always dream and have something to look forward too, because life is glum without it.

It is always hard giving up on a friend, had a similar experience in high school, a best friend of mine completely ditched me, there is always a part of you that wonders what they are up to, but in the end there are always those people you know you can count on any day.

Things I carry around are the basics, keys and chap-stick in my left pants pocket, phone in my right, wallet in my back right pocket and knife in the left back pocket and of course the ring on the left ring finger (that ones for the wife if she is reading). Don't think that is all that strange, I am guessing most people have a certain place each of their items must go in their pockets.

Lord knows I carry a ton of shit with me all the time too. Wish I could put some of it down, but that's life, I guess. I'm with ya'.

As far as what I carry physically, I'm almost never without Altoids or a lighter. I have all the usual shit too - wallet, keys, phone, extra dildos, etc. - but for some reason I like having the Altoids there. Fresh breath instantaneously makes a potential first impression at least 35% more successful.
