Field of Dreams is definitely in my Top 10 favorite movies, and probably in my Top 5 if I truly think about it and how it applies to my life. I can't help but get chocked up everytime I watch the end of the movie because I would love to have that one last game of catch with my dad. That one scene alone fills me with all kinds of different emotions, sadness that I will never get that chance to do that with my dad again (at least here on Earth) but it also fills me with happiness just thinking about him. It has been almost 13 years since he has passed away but watching this movie always takes me back and reminds me of all the great times I had with him.

P.S. Sorry for the sentimental post, just felt like I wanted to get that out there.

Again, the Flickerbock is a lover of this movie. It is not my favorite baseball movie (hell, it isn't my favorite Costner baseball movie), but it is a great movie none-the-less.

And he can stand like that because he's Kevin Fucking Costner.

And I can't wait for the reviews of Bull Durham and For Love of the Game. I'm borderline (meaning fully) giddy just thinking about baseball.

"To stare him down, and just as he goes into his windup, wink. Make him think you know something he doesn't. That's what I wish for." Who doesn't wish for this?
