I'm right there with you Tron. I had to watch it in high school and that experience has ruined me for that movie.

Everyone talking about crying at Marley and Me is THE REASON I will NEVER see that movie!
Ask Dagger, one time he so sweetly put it, "when we are done with the cats..." and I cried for a good hour. One of our professors in grad school had to put his dog down, again I cried for DAYS just thinking about it! This movie is NOT for me!!!
And one more thing... Last night Dagger comes downstairs and asks, "Can we watch SLC Punk?" So what did we do last night? Watch SLC Punk, and yes, I cried. Again.

I too forgot to send my response until after the cutoff time and then didn't want to send it and get called out for being late. So here's my answer. Everyone that knows me knows that I'm a crier - which is why it's weird I didn't cry when I gave birth to our son. My husband would say the answer is "every movie she has ever seen." He loves to look at me, see the tears streaming down my face and then laugh at me. I definitely cried at every movie I saw during my pregnancy, including I Am Legend (ditto Tron). The one that always makes people laugh at me is Independence Day - I cried 4 times. I also cry every time I watch Steel Magnolias which is one of my favorite movies. This one is interesting because I know every word but still cry. But the movie that I cried the hardest at was P.S. I Love You with Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler. I went with Mrs. Flickerbock and we cried like 5 separate times. Then we started crying again walking to the car. THEN, I know I'm a glutton for punishment, I made Mr. Right watch it with me and cried again. It makes me cry just thinking about it. I also cry at most TV shows and now anything that has to do with a mother and son interaction. Call me Amy Winehouse because I'm a freakin' mess.

I too forgot to send in my response, but all was not lost because I was also going to put Marley & Me. The wife and I rented it a month or so ago, I wasn't all the excited about it, I am not a big Owen Wilson fan, his face drives me absolutely crazy, but just like most people I was crying my eyes out and hugging my dog by the end of the movie. There was another part in the movie that got me teary eyed, when they had a miscarriage, really hit home with both my wife and I since we had a similar experience a few months earlier. I usually don't cry while watching movies so for a movie to get me twice is very unusual. So that's why I was going to go with Marley & Me as well.

I can't believe I forgot to send this in...again. Typed up and ready to go and then it sat there. Lame. Anyway, I'm with the majority here about Marley & Me. Since I had read the book and cried like a lost little girl then, I knew what I was in for. I had just started dating Keithage and knew there was no way I was going to that movie with him. I didn't need him to think I was a crazy pet owner quite yet. So while he was away for a weekend of skiing, I took myself to see the movie. When I left, I was still teary eyed while I listened to voicemail he had left me. He was drunk and the message was hilarious...so then I was laughing and crying at the same time as I tried to return his call. I told him where I had been, and his response was just what I thought it would be. "Good, I'm glad you did that without me. That's a chick movie I do not want to see." So now that's he's attached to my dog, I'm totally going to make him watch it so I can see him tear up, as soon as I can get enough emotional strength up to sit through it again.

I couldn't think of a movie that always get the water works a rollin', but SLC Punk was one of those. And on the note of dogs that Futurama episode where Fry's dog waits forever for him is one of the saddest episodes ever. There is one movie that I watch a lot that makes me tear up but for the life of me I can't remember it. That must be why I keep watching it.

Good one Tron.
Mrs. Decue actually reminded me of another movie I cried during when we talked about this topic over the weekend.
That move is Miracle. In the scene where they are all skating the line drill over and over and over, and finally they get on the line and Eruzione stops and says, "Mike Eruzione, Winthrop Massachusettes." and Herb says, "And who do you play for?" and and Mike replies, "I play for the United States of America!" Hearing that just makes me feel all warm and emotional inside and I get teary eyed. Those guys don't play for their respective colleges with their unimportant rivalries anymore, they play for something bigger and more important than that. I just want to shout, "Hell yes you do! I love America!"
