Tastes change. I'm 36 and was a young man during the micro brew boom in the 90's. I didn't drink anything but micros and imports for years. But, for the last 5 years or so, I seriously prefer swill. Natty Light, Beast Light, High Life, Keystone, Bud, dirt cheap crap only found locally like Hamm's and shit. Whatever.

Tastes change.

CassieB:

1) A bon mot is French and means literally "good word," but in slang terms it's "a witty phrase."
2) That beer was Leinenkugel's Red, and it's from Wisconsin. It's fucking delicious.
3) I've had a number of microbrews that were an affront to God himself, but that was mostly due to combining flavors that shouldn't go anywhere near beer. I think the crappiest beer I ever drank was at a tiny brewpub in Alaska that me and Limon went to. Whatever the hell we ordered tasted like the bitter despair of broken dreams mixed with Alaskan moose piss. It was truly awful.

Mainstream beers: I can't think of a worse tasting beer than Corona.

Dagger: 3 questions for ya.

1. What is a Bon Mot?
2. What was the name of that beer on the mirror that used to hang in your and Lady E's dining room?
3. Curious to know what you consider to be the worst beer you have ever tasted.

So Tron, Answer this.
East Coast (Philly) is to West Coast (Alaska) as

Black is to...
A. Grey
B. Red
C. Blue
D. White.

Gutter - I believe the Bouncing souls say it the best in their song titled "East Coast, Fuck You"

We will share Yuengling when Fat Tire is available over here. Simple as that. Unfortunately, I also live in a Puritannical state that makes shipping or receiving beer via mail illegal.

The east coast can suck it argument makes sense, Philly is on the east coast, it has nothing to do with the Yankees beating the Phillies. I was just saying that I don't want to travel to the east coast to enjoy a great beer.

The Yankees winning the world series/east coast can suck it argument doesn't make any sense. The Phillies are east coast too, plus Yuengling is essentially a Philly beer.

It's one of the cheapest beers you can get here too, compared to $6 Corona at most bars. It's pretty good stuff and it's the only beer I've ever had that can be ordered by type. If you tell a bartender give me a Lager in Philly, you get a Yuengling.
